This is a franchise which provides home care to older people and specialist home care to disabled people of all ages. It can be operated as a stand alone business or as an add-on to an existing care or residential home business.

You will access a proven business model with support from an established high-level homecare company with a number of Company branches. You will operate in a defined exclusive area and you will receive intensive training that covers both the specifics of running a domiciliary care business and guidance on how to develop your business.

This means offering continuity – for example by keeping the number of different carers attending each client to a minimum. You will also ensure your carers are personally introduced to those they will visit so clients know exactly who is coming and when. You will never send a stranger into their homes, unknown and unannounced.

You will use state-of-the-art monitoring and logging systems, so if the worst happens – such as a carer’s car breaking down – you can alert your client to the delay and make sure someone else is en route to them as quickly as possible.

The range of care you will provide varies. Clients may just want someone to accompany them to a hospital appointment or on a shopping trip or they might require help with personal care, cooking and cleaning. You will also offer tailored care packages to clients with more specialised needs.
